My Biography

Rob Lawson serves as METI's Capture Manager, aligning bid and proposal efforts with the company’s strategic goals and client needs. With over 35 years of experience pursuing business opportunities with the U.S. Department of Defense and federal civilian agencies, Rob brings a wealth of technical proposal development knowledge and expertise to his role. He supports METI’s capture process, from market analysis to coordinating proposal development, ensuring the highest standards of proposal quality and compliance.

Throughout his career, Rob has held various technical project roles, refining his project management skills and becoming well-versed in proposal writing and development. He transitioned from field engineering to project management, ultimately specializing in business development and capture management. Rob has a proven track record in supporting proposal responses for large IDIQ solicitations for the Department of Defense and the Department of Agriculture’s Forest Service. Rob holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Arizona State University.
